The last time Dark Meat were in New York, we had them stop by to see our pals at VIVA-Radio. The band set up shop and performed some live exlcusives for VIVA's Me + You session. All of which you can check out on Monday June 23 at noon.

Dark Meat are also set to perform with the one and only Diplo twice in the Peach State. They hit up Athens, and follow it up by destroying Henry Owings at his own game of Whirleyball. Admission to the Atlanta show is free with a purchase of the the Dark Meat/Diplo 7" available exclusively at Criminal Records.

Finally, the people over at iMeem hooked up with Dark Meat in the middle of Haight Ashbury in San Francisco. They take a tour of the 1970's green bus that the band calls home, and then go for a stroll through hippy-town bringing the music to the people. Check out the fun here.

The massive cross country and back again tour is finally over. It's almost hard to believe. Jim McHugh is probably one the best writers who also fronts a badass band we've ever encountered. Read about Jim's tour antics and perils here.

Texas just keeps the goodness coming. One of our favorite online live video performance sites switch.burn.tv caught the band in Austin and made three amazing videos of the show, with three different simultaneous views.

Anyone ever been to www.thingschrisrecorded.com? If not, you totally should. Chris from Good Records was able to meet up with the Meats in Dallas and record two live performances. You can download them in FLAC or MP3 here. Nice work Chris! Dark Meat will be in Costa Mesa Friday, June 27 at the Vestal headquarters (730 West 17th St) to help ring in their new collection. The chaos starts at 8pm and all ages are welcome.

Now that North America has been conquered, next is Europe! They will be playing the Way Out West Festival in Goteborg, Sweden on August 7th and then its off to the Oya Festival in Oslo on Saturday, August 9th.

Dark Meat have teamed up with Diplo and Atlas Sound to put out a 7" for our dear old friend Henry Owings of Chunklet Magazine. Dark Meat will be on one side of the 7" and Atlas Sound will take the reigns for the other side. Both bands will be remixed by the one and only Diplo. Watch out Henry, you may have met your whirly ball match! As if that weren't enough you can see all three bands play, assuming of course you live in Georgia.
