The Black Lips' newest opus, Good Bad Not Evil which you can stream in its entirety over at MySpace this week, comes out September 11. For the momentous occasion, Black Lips are doing a special show at MJQ in Atlanta. How do you get into the show? Well, it's easy. Starting Tuesday, September 4, Good Bad Not Evil will be available for pre-order at ye olde Criminal Records. If you truck down early to pre-order the record, you not only get a spiff-tastic DVD of Black Lips Live in Israel which you can't get your paws on anywhere else, but you get the secret handshake invite to the show on September 11. Assuming the show doesn't sell out before release date, there will be CDs available as your ticket in at MJQ on the day of the show, but why would you risk it? Oh, and you only get the DVD if you pre-order or buy at Criminal on release date. So if you've got nothing to do on Tuesday during your lunch break besides sneak a couple of pints, head down to Criminal and pre-order that gem and get ready for the show.

WHO WANTS A CORN ROAST?

Who doesn't love Montreal in the fall? The falling leaves, the warm poutine, the rock. The Osheaga Festival takes over Île Ste. Hélène (Parc Jean-Drapeau) the 8th and 9th of September. Bloc Party will be headlining on the 9th, but what we're super jazzed about is the VICE and VBS.tv presented VICE Corn Roast on September 8. The Nymphets will be kicking things off at 5pm, the Panthers will be kicking ass at 6pm, then we've got Fucked Up and CPC Gangbangs to ease you into the night. You can get info and tickets for the festival here and we'll see you in the park.

BLACK LIPS - WHAT I DID OVER MY SUMMER VACATION

Tel Aviv loves hummus, not Hamas. Just a couple letters sours the goats girth of succulent milk.
- Black Lips
Black Lips spent their summer vacation in a fashion a bit different than most of us. While we were hitting the beach or chillin in some air conditioning, the Black Lips did a tour of duty through Israel and Palestine. Every day this week, VBS.tv premieres a new episode of the Black Lips in Israel. Check out the first one today and tune in every day for more. In conjunction with the film, the Black Lips made us a little scrap book of pix and blurbs about their time overseas. Check in with Pitchfork Media tomorrow for more on the Black Lips' summer vacation.

T-SHIRT TITANS

Let us take you back to 2006, when Justice vs. Simian's video for "We Are Your Friends" trumped Kanye West's video for "Touch The Sky" at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Fast forward to 2007 and the MTV VMAs and we might have a similar show down. As unbelievable as it might be, Justice "D.A.N.C.E." video has been nominated for the Best Video of the Year. To check out the nominated video and its competition, head over to MTV and get ready for the fireworks.

SUBCONSCIOUSNESS BEEN SPLAYED ON CANKERED BRAINS

We're pretty much over the moon for Black Lips and we could not be more proud to be involved with their new LP, Good Bad Not Evil out on September 11. Taking everything we love about the band - the hooks, the sneers, the crazy noises from Cole's magic box, the choruses you want to sing along with your fist in the air with your sense of personal space violated - and adding in a dash of endless road testing and years of experience, Good Bad Not Evil is undoubtedly in the running for the most fun record of 007.
The first track we'd like to introduce you to is "Cold Hands." The track has us all singing along in this corner of Brooklyn, and the video has us in crazed anticipation for their fall tour dates. Marrying footage from their time in Europe earlier this year, the video does a handy job of showing what the touring juggernaut of Black Lips camp brings.

SEXY FUNNY AND THE BROCODER

Chromeo don't just pump out songs about triflin girls and stressin boys. They'll also spend the time going over the rules of the Brocode, the importance of good musical taste, the circumstances in which liking Black Eyed Peas is acceptable, and generally giving out solid lovin advice. Which they did with XLR8R TV. Find out all the deal breakers, deal sealers, and special considerations from Dave and P themselves.
