So far we've only been able to witness the insanity of Justice in fever-inducing moderation. Witnessing the round robin of the Ed Banger family dance camp at shows this spring was a revelation, everyone who came back alive from Coachella had been taken hostage by the "D.A.N.C.E." but this fall Justice is coming to storm the US - Bastille style. Check the tour section for dates and check the MP3 blog for a whole mess of Justice remixes for a taste of what's to come this October.

RAGING CLUE

The Black Lips tore up the coasts in July, playing a packed in-store at Easy Street in Seattle and two incendiary shows at Amoeba in San Francisco and LA. The Hollywood show was so bloody fantastic, kids were cutting a major rug in the Jazz section. Amoeba was wise enough to realize what a ridiculous time it would be and they taped the whole thing. You can check out the whole 36 minute in-store at Amoeba. Spitting, make-outs, freak outs and some serious dancing made this one of the coolest in stores, perhaps of all time. As if that wasn't enough, the fellas then came to NYC to slay Siren Festival. We rode the cyclone, got sand in our shoes and witnessed a chicken having the best day of his life. This little trip felt like the calm before the storm. Good Bad Not Evil takes over the world on September 11 and honestly, we could not be more jazzed. Later in the week we'll be announcing tour dates so stay tuned for all that action.

ELECTROMA MADNESS

The screenings of Daft Punk's Electroma went over so swimmingly that we've got a whole new round ready for your viewing pleasure. Check out the August locations over at the VICE Records MySpace page and if you live in one of those cities, prepare to get mad robotic.
Oh yeah, and VICE talked to Daft Punk about Electroma. Read Thomas' description of the movie and influences from Easy Rider to 2001... here.

CHAMPAGNE VS. PIZZA
When Chromeo kicked off their July tour at Studio B in Brooklyn, one VICE employee/dancing fool who'd never seen the Chromeo show was whipped into a frenzy so intense he found himself at the front of the stage. Once at the front he was so overcome he ripped his shirt off, got on stage and after a brief dance, hurled himself into the undulating arms of the screaming crowd. In the process he lost his glasses, his shirt and perhaps some of his dignity - but what he found was the light of Chromeo. While the boys were on the road the pizza delivery/hologram seducing/champagne drinking/van dancing video for "Tenderoni" was completed and now we present it to you. Try to keep your shirt on.

ELECTROMA-RAMA

We're pleased as punch to be part of bringing Electroma, Daft Punk's epic robot buddy movie to the States, and we're doing screenings all around the country in celebration of the film. If you live in Austin, Seattle or Miami, you'll have chances before the end of the month to check out the film. More August screenings coming next week, but for now check out the VICE Records blog for all the info.

BLACK LIPS ARE COMING TO THE CANYON

We like record stores a whole bunch. The Black Lips like wearing tighty whities in record stores a whole bunch. So we decided to head west and do a couple of instores in Seattle and Cali. If you're a fan of Easy Street Records in Seattle, swing by Sunday at 3. San Franciscans should mark their calendars to come down to Amoeba on July 13th at 6. Hollywood, we'll see you on July 16 at 6 for some fireworks of your own.

CALLING ALL COPPOLAS

When Bloc Party delivered their version of "The Prayer" we thought we were on acid. But there are so many other drug induced experiences to marry with the track. If you want to weigh in on your interpretation of the tune, head over to Fuse. They're running a contest to create a new video for "The Prayer." It's a fair amount of work, but not only do you get to revel in the glory of being deemed the best by Bloc Party, you get a motherfucking flight to NYC to catch the fellas at the Theater at MSG. Check it.

HERE COMES THE BOADRUM

We've been tooting our horns about this for a while, but 77 Boa Drum is now upon us. On Saturday 74 luminaries in the drumming world will be joining the Boredoms in a snaking, thunderous wave of noise and awesome. All the info on the event, how to RSVP if you'll be in the NYC area and how the whole thing will be going down is here. If you're in NYC and not in the park getting your mind blown, you should probably seek some help.
