Our friends at Dazed Digital fondly refer to Chromeo as "Canadian boogie brothers," which for some reason conjures images of these guys. They also have an exclusive live session from London chock full of vocoders, thumping bass lines, chanting crowds and instructional dancing. Also featuring a nice little interview about the fellas love for boogie, this video pretty much has it all.

BEATLES? BLACK LIPS!
There's some stuff on this flyer we don't quite understand but when we got it in we just had to share. There's something sort of Beatles-y about the thing and it's just about the closest representation to how we feel about Cole we've ever seen. Oh yeah. And did we mention they're playing in fucking Jerusalem? Check out all of the insane international dates on the tour page. If you happen to be NY based like us, we'll see you at Siren Fest for Black Lips. We'll be the kids causing a ruckus up in front.

The Favourite Sons will also be playing a show at the new Luna Lounge in Brooklyn on May 23. If you're a NYer - come check out the fellas playing a mix of old and new tunes.

STREETS TALK ABOUT 4th ALBUM
Mike Skinner you ol' bloke. You're up to your old tricks again and hard at work on your 4th album. And we couldn't be happier. This one promises to be full of live instruments, some kind of fantasy history lesson and well... you better let him tell you himself courtesy of Beat Stevie TV. So go here and watch this video and get the inside scope on Mike's new effort. Which he seems bent and determined to release before Christmas.

CHARLOTTE THE MEDIA DARLING
It's okay to fall in love with Charlotte Gainsbourg even if you have a boy/girl friend. It's totally acceptable. You're significant other will understand - and probably fall in love themselves. It's just not possible to fight the forces of nature. Have a look at these video's taken at the photoshoots for Nylon and Paper Magazine. Just let her presence and cordial demeanor wash over you like a warm bath.

COME ON AND D.A.N.C.E.
Well, the time has arrived. We have officially premiered the official video for Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." on Daily Motion. Kids' choruses haven't sounded this catchy since Jay-Z drafted the cast of "Annie" on "Hard Knock Life." Dance music hasn't sounded this jubilant since, oh, who the hell knows when. There's something about this song that makes our whole office bob their heads. If the animation wasn't so frenetic, there'd be no explaining Xavier and Gaspard's casual stroll through the club - this track is just that undeniable. Release date is coming - waiting for † is like trying to be patient for summer itself, but this is just the beginning of the music deluge from Justice. If we had our druthers, this jam would be blaring out of every car this summer. It's sure liven up the Brooklyn heatwaves.

BLACK LIPS LOVE CROATIA

They've been dubbed the "hardest working band at SXSW" by the New York Times and "one of the best live bands in America" by Rolling Stone, and this summer the Black Lips storm the shores of the UK, Europe and Israel to show them how it's done in Atlanta. You'd think after running all over the country on a firey tour with the Ponys and playing more shows in three days than a Las Vegas chorus girl the fellas would want a break, but while the bags are already packed, why not just keep going. 6 shows in Holland? Why not? Showing Croatia and Israel a good time the Black Lips way? Sounds about right. World, meet the Black Lips.
