VICE KILLS SUMMER - NZ 2008

Last week we put on a party on Auckland’s K Rd, where the free booze, bands and karaoke attracted hipsters like moths to a moth party. Friendly and fun hipsters, mind you, and not aggressive elf-shoe wearing ones. Vice Records’ Japanese Motors were on hand (fresh off the plane) to get everyone dancing and spilling the sponsors’ product. LONDON - VICE KILLS TONIGHT

Don't miss VICE Kills this Friday night at Proud Camden. Playing live we've got two of the most exciting US bands right now: Times New Viking and Yeasayer. We're also treating you to one of the first ever shows by Pin Me Down, a new electro outfit fronted by Bloc Party guitarist Russell Lissack. If that wasn't enough, we're also bringing a squad of DJs including Zomby, ACTH and Allez Allez. Tickets cost £8 and are only available on the door, so get there early.

We're throwing a bash by Brighton beach tonight. Klaxons are DJing alongside Lovefoxxx, the singer in CSS. Fingers crossed she'll do her monkey dance. We've also got grime crew Roll Deep playing live.
