Probably you didn't miss the opening of our Photo Show at Spencer Brownstone last week, because everyone in NYC was there, waiting in a line that passed by surprisingly quickly, entering an air-conditioned temple of gorgeous portraiture selected from our Photo Issue, then commingling very politely, sipping refined cocktails served by butlers, and going home with their dedicated life partners. Clearly all that was a bunch of horseradish. Probably you didn't even get a chance to see what the show in New York really looked like, because it was so packed and everyone had a thong-shaped pattern of sweat on their dungarees. ummmm...bad news, guys.

LA art shows these days are about as fun as jail, but with worse snacks. not to curse the West Coast leg of the exhibit - looks like the NYC show was bueno, - but...just sayin'.

just another reason why I'm hightailing it outta this mirage of a hologram of a rumor of a cashed-out town, asap.
