We told ourselves we wouldn't blatantly promote our label via this website and instead would offer weekly mp3s, our mind-thoughts from our head-brains, and little else. We now find ourselves at a point when we must eat our words. Though of course you can't really eat a laptop. So instead we'll just say sorry for lying to you and go right ahead blatantly promoting the Human Hair 7-inch, and admit that we've officially entered a land of no return where all we can talk about is US and OUR LABEL.
Henry from Lovvers plays guitar and the whole thing is totally joyous but always slightly foreboding. It's all killer in both senses, like "no filler" and like "I am scared of this dude, he is weird and I think he might hurt me." I want to solder this 7-inch to my turntable, not because I am biased but because it totally kills. Hm, I think I have a murder fixation at the moment.
They played this song, "Happy Birthday," on my birthday in Brighton and it didn't even feel that corny because it is that fucking good.
