Hail heathen souls and curious minds, gather round, I have a slice of something so heinously austere you may never be the same again. Reencarnación, a South American black/death/thrash outfit from the mid-80s, is a bit punkier and a little proggier than the rest in the dark pool that birthed them. The vocals from their 1988 debut, 888 Metal really do it for me, and I usually pay zero attention to vocals. They sound like the voice of a terrorist rapist who's breaking into your house right now while you're perusing Facebook at work, and he's going to eat all your cereal after he's done defiling anyone he pleases. And he's going to do this while wearing your nice white hooded bathrobe, spilling Coco Pop milk all over it. These guys went on to make a bunch of records that probably sucked so if you can pick up 888 Metal, it's given brutal a whole new meaning. Click down there to listen
