I almost left my body the other night. Deliberately. Lots of the tingling as my nonphysical began to separate from my physical. I was phasing between R.E.M. and consciousness for a spell, and at some point soon after I began to dream without noticing the transition: I am driving my truck north on Route 66 at night...approaching a green traffic light I accelerate...it turns yellow. "You're dreaming," I think, receding back to body in the same gesture as my truck braking to a stop. Years ago during meth psychosis I had reflected that semiotically the yellow of the traffic signal was somehow profound and now I knew why...

"Don't STAY [red], don't MOVE [green], STAY PHYSICALLY/MOVE YOUR NONPHYSICAL BODY [yellow]."

I have a gift for the seeing of signs and my Higher Self is sending them; I love the dimensional compartmentalization of THE SIGN being literally A SIGNAL. Sometimes phenomena gets refracted when it changes densities (I think this happens when certain predictions do not come to pass in third density) and sometimes phenomena can be interpreted in a monolithically literal way.

The next night I tried again to separate from my physical; I focused on the back of my eyelids. Phosphenes organized themselves into the outlines of the walls and portals I mentally conjured, like vector graphics. I felt the tingling...I felt little neurological lightning bolts on my right elbow which sustained a contusion at the last Laundry Room Squelchers show in New York. The bruise is gone but there's some obstinate liquid around the elbow.

I realized I could expedite healing of my physical body through the nonphysical lightbody. I can go anywhere in the astral universe; back in time, to the nether reaches of our galaxy and beyond, but I have to quit popping pharmaceuticals and ripping massive bongloads every day.

sounds like you were on the verge of lucid dreaming. i used to lucid dream all the time back when i got 8 hours of sleep a night and before starting to drink and smoke. it was a pretty crazy and wonderful thing. to be able to do anything you want with the knowledge that there are no consequences and normal physical laws don't exist is a total mindfuck in the best way possible.

the best and strangest dreams are the ones where you fall asleep immediately, like when you nod off. it's like a millisecond dream that seems like an entire story took place in your mind.
