Today we meet Simon Davenport, 24, an artist from Norwich.
Simon Davenport studied for his BA in Fine Art at the Norwich School of Art and Design. Since graduating in 2006 he has lived and worked in Norwich. He previously made up one half of art duo Romance Romance, performing at the Art Car Boot Fair...
He founded Oliver Cromwell Televisuals (a free-to-air internet television channel) for Contemporary Art Norwich 2007 and has shown his own moving image work at the Chicago and Rotterdam film festivals. He recently took part in Voewood At Home, a Kaavous-Bhoyroo project, and in 2007 was selected by Gavin Turk for 'Members Show'.

Why is Creative 30 just about “young creative people”? Why not ALL creative people? You wouldn’t be allowed to have a project about “white creative people” or “creative male people” but your project is no less discriminatory.
I suspect you will alienate more people than you impress and that you would be well advised to be more inclusive with your projects in future.

yeah frank. jesus. if you are a 50 year 'old' creative you have been fucking slow getting where you want to go - while all these 'young' people have managed to do amazing stuff in a short amount of time. they deserve a possible foot up and bit of exposure. cheer the fuck up.
