Since our last attempt at selling orphaned wares online went so well, we dug through every nook of the office and came up with some pretty promising junk. Most of it was clothing and accessories, however, we also found some pricey electronics that made this our highest-grossing eBay experience to date. Perplexingly, more boxes of stuff that nobody should ever want keep arriving at the office. We have no idea how companies can afford to send out crates of this garbage with the economy the dysenteric turd splattered across a Chinese squat toilet it currently is, but as long as can continue to siphon beer money from their folly, we aren't complaining. Click the thing below to see how we did this time.
Nike Tech Pack M65 Jacket - $102.50
Diesel 0023/S Sunglasses - $61
Casio G-shock 25th Anniversary Watch - $95
Besides being an extremely rare time-telling device given only to important media people at corporate events, this dealie came with its own t-shirt and a book that relates the mind-numbing history of the G-shock. We were under the impression that nobody and his mother would be interested in a biography of a watch, but I guess we were wrong because the dude who bought it was so excited he tried to give us an extra $25 for weekend delivery. Can you imagine the conversations he is going to try to start with this thing?
Robert Marc rm578 Sunglasses - $122.50
Nobody here had ever heard of Robert Marc so we just made up some bullshit. The listing said they were the “elegant” and “sophisticated” eyewear choice of people like Diddy and Julianne Moore. It must have worked because someone with “Dior” in their eBay name snatched them up.
Tretorn Strand Skagenrora Limited-edition Box set - $20.50
Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones - $305
OK, these are actually pretty nice headphones. They sound good, they’re just overpriced and sponsored by a rapper. But evidently the Best Buys in the Persian Gulf aren't stocking them because we had people from the UAE to Saudi Arabia to Qatar (princes, we suppose) asking how much shipping would cost to the region. The guy from Qatar won, but Dad must’ve withheld his petrol kickback that week because he never paid up. If you’re interested, they’ve been relisted. Let us know if you make a bid and we’ll throw in a Cardiel DVD or something.
